I was born in 1953. It is not good to lump everyone in the same category based on an age group-- we are all individuals who have had different types of lives. My life has been one of great pain and great blessings, but no one handed me life on a platter. I am not rich in money, but am very rich in other ways. Every generation has made mistakes and will make more. The next generation will blame them, and it goes on and on. There is good in each of them. It is not wise to ignore the wisdom and experiences of those who have it and could help you if you wanted to listen. We will be gone and out of your way soon enough.

The fact that I was born in 1962 is the only thing that associates me with the boomers. Being at the tail end of the boom I think I have been one of the first to hit by the wake of distruction being left by this plague of locust. Nearly all of my friends are gen. x and gen. y. I relate to them because as a they are substantially more inteligent and insightful than my fellow self absorbed boomers. If any of you were given one third the opportunity the boomers were given you would have performed circles around them and made them look like the pathetic non performers that they are. You amaze me with how much you can do with absolutely no real opportunity, when they did had every opportunity in the world and turned it in to complete fuckedupedness. I truly admire gen x and gen y and look forward to the day the boomers are out and you are in charge.

The Boomer Death Counter is a visionary work of art! Chaos IS the highest form of order. As Is, It Is. Death and Taxes are certainties. I applaud oxidation, say Hurray! for entropy too. I love this clock Mr. Love!

As a member of "Generation Y", it delights me to see the boomer death clock. If you look at all the problems my generation (and Generation X to an extent) have to deal with, the only logical direction to point the finger is at the baby boomers. Generation Y hasn't even had a chance to mess things up yet, but we're on the recieving end of an unfair beatdown. On one hand, we have the fallout of the mistakes made by an irresponsible generation that's going to retire or die before they have to worry about it, and on the other we have that very same generation blaming us (and anybody but themselves) for all of said problems. We're stuck between a rock and a hard place, with a high demand for and small supply of jobs, yet the cost of living goes up. All this is going on in an apparently failing economy.
As I said, we haven't had a chance to screw things up yet, so it's not hard to see who's to blame. We're not some stupid gimmicky "iPod generation" or "YouTube generation", we're the generation that has to clean up YOUR mess, baby boomers. Why don't you just sit and watch that clock in your retirement homes on our tab while we fix your mess :-)

"This is killer! So how do I make my money back off them before they go? I have been putting up with the results of their poor choices all my life, time to get paid back."
lmao, awesome Yeah like how everyone HAS to make money now, even old broke people just to keep a house thats already paid for~since even they have to pay property taxes.
I guess boomers never figured much else out but money. Look at the polluted hell hole we live in now. Thanks fuckers

It has always been my understanding that there were 110 million baby boomers. Recently they reported that there was still 76 million baby boomers alive. What are the correct numbers? Does any one really know?

This is great!! I have always been thinking of making a site like this, and once I got back from fighting wars, I sat and... boom, you had already done it for me. Keep up the good work. Sorry baby boomers, there are more bad than good, and you are still sticking it to us... See you in Hades.
